Lush Comforter Bubble Bar

I picked up this bubble bar myself, but it was part of my mom's Christmas present for me. My friend gave me The Comforter Shower gel, and i fell in love with the smell. And i mainly got this bar because of it's scent. It mostly smells like black currant, which is not something i usually like, but with a mixture of fruits the bar smells so good! I couldn't resist buying it.

This is actually first bubble bar i've tried from lush, before i only used bath bombs. And i expected the bar to be enough only for one bath, but i crumbled a little piece, less than third part, and it made the entire bath full of bubbles.

I'm so pleased with how little you need for one time! No need to say that my whole bathroom smelled amazing. It's also supposed to make water purple, but i used it with other bath bombs, so the colour wasn't purple. Lying in a bath with Comforter felt so calming, i was fully relaxed. This is exactly what one needs after a rough day. From now on this might be one of my favorite lush products!

Have you tried this bubble bar or any other lush products? Please give me some recommendations and reviews!

Sephora Beauty Blender

I've wanted to try a beauty blender for ages! I just couldn't find it anywhere i live. I don't ever use brushes for my foundation or concealer, so i've always used my fingers for it. But i get really grossed out to put the rest of my makeup with some foundation remains on my hands. And every time i put foundation and concealer i had to get up and wash my hands. I know it's not that big of a deal, but it is really annoying if it's something you have to do every day, especially when in a rush. Back to the point, i've got a beauty blender from Sephora brand two months ago and i've been using it ever since.

Do i even need to point out the convinience of that way of applying foundation and concealer? Life changing! I use this blender to apply pretty much everything that can possibly be applied with it.

With the round side i apply:
  • Face primer (i love Baby Skin by Maybelline)
  • Foundation
  • Spot concealer
  • Benetint from Benefit as blusher
And i use the pointy side for:
  • Undereye concealer
  • Eyeshadow primer
  • Highlighter
My makeup routine has changed so much in terms of convinience, and the best part of using a beauty blender for me personally is that i don't have to wash my hands 30 times while doing my makeup. And also my foundation and concealer look so much better applied with the sponge, much more natural.
Now, let's talk about this particular blender. As i mentioned, this is the first one i've ever tried, but i love it a lot. It's very soft and gentle with my skin, makes my foundation look flawless. Though, i've noticed that i use a bit more foundation comparing to how much i would if applied with my fingers. But that's okay, it's worth it. I also really like that weird line in the middle of the blender that separates the foundation and concelaer part. That would come in very handy if your concelarer is a lot lighter than your foundation.
The only thing i don't like is that the pointy side is a bit too small and it's not perfectly convinient to use in the corners of my eyes. But that's not a problem for me at all.
Lots of love,

NYX Mineral Finishing Powder

Today i want to talk about one of my newest purchases - NYX 'Set It & Don't Fret It" Matte Finishing Powder. As it is pointed out on the bottle, the powder is mineral, which i like. Ever since i got it, i've been using it every single day. I apply it with my kabuki brush from EcoTools that i got on Iherb two yers ago. Works great, by the way.

Why I Love The Powder
  • The milling is very fine. And the texture of the powder is silky
  • It isn't noticable on my face. I apply it in the morning and then i forget i even have it on. I don't feel it at all, and it doesn't make me look caky
  • It mattifies my skin and makes it look perfect. With no exagguration - P.E.R.F.E.C.T.
  • It looks as if it was ivory color, but when i apply it, it gives me no colour at all - just finishes off my face makeup
  • Stays on all day. Obviously, it wears off throughout the day a little bit - as any powder would do - but it still looks good in the evening
I honestly don't even have anything bad to say about the product, i'm in love. Truly. Madly. Deeply. (haha see what i did there?;) Highly recommend. It's actually the best drugstore powder i've tried!
By the way, have you tried this particular one or any powder by NYX? Tell me what you think! And i would love to hear your recommendations about NYX products i should try next. I just discovered this brand, and i'm slowly falling in love with it!

Books I've Read Lately // January-February Wrap Up

I love writing these posts, though i think i should do them monthly, because now i have quite a few books to show, hope the post won't be too long. As you probably know, i absolutely love reading, that's one of the things i can do non-stop, true hobby and something that brings me a lot of joy. And i read different kinds of books, i don't have a particular genre i stick to, it all depends on my mood.

Little Women by Louisa Alcott

I read this in the very beginning of January, and literally finished it in one sit, i couldn't stop reading. I know it's for children, but i honestly don't care, i didn' read that much as a child, and now i have to catch up. It's the most beautiful story of four sisters, honestly, these little girls deserve admiration. This book is full of kindness, you read and you just want to become a better person. When i have a child, that's going to be a book i will make sure to read to my daughter.

Harry Potter (1,2) by J. K. Rowling

I don't have much to say, everybody knows how amazing these books are. I read first thre parts in Russian years ago, and recently i decided to read all seven of them in English. So far i finished two, but wanted to take a little break and read something else, but i genuienly enjoyed these two.

Notre Dame de Paris by Victor Hugo

The most beautiful and soul-touching love story i have ever read in my life! I can't even express in words how good the book is. Yes, there were a few boring chapters, but that's nothing comparing to the rest. As i was reading the final chapters, i felt everything in me was tearing apart, i can't deal with how unfair it all was... I can't even talk about it. If you still haven't read this, please do, you will love it but be aware - it might break your heart too!

Three Comrades by E. M. Remarque

It's one of those books i honestly didn't think i would like. I had a very sudden impulse to buy this book, but when i did, i though "why did i do that? i'm never going to read it!". But surprisingly to me, a few weeks later i actually felt the urge to start reading this, which i exactly what i did (obviously, i know). I finished this within one week, i fell in love with how Remarque writes and the story line is beautiful. As far as most people including myself know, all Remarque's books have sad ending, and normally, i'm not the type of person who even read these books, i want characters to live happily ever after, you know. But despite the ending, i loved the book so much, from cover to cover. And the more i think of the story, the more i love it.

Three Men In A Boat by Jerome K. Jerome

In my previous book post (read here) i said that 'Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy' was the funniest book i've read, well, now it's not. This one is. As i was reading it, i just couldn't help laughing, that's so well-written! I can't say the plot is very unique or exiting, but the book is definately worth reading, at least for the humour. And i know there's two parts, but i haven't yet read 'Three Men On Wheels', but surely i will at some point.

The Insulted and Humiliated by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

I just finished this book, literally just before writing this post. I'm not sure what i feel now. This reminds me of a love detective story in the best way possible. It's not really a detective but kinf of. The book got my attention from the very first page, which doesn't happen too often. I was reading it when i was on the bus back home from my college, and i tried my best not to weep as a child on a few very touching moments! Russian books have that charming atmosphere that i can't even express in words.

My Planner // 100th Post!

It's so weird for me to say it's my 100th post but so exiting! I really wanted to to something special and decided to show you my planner/diary, because i promised to do so awile ago. And can i just add that these pictures were so hard to take for some reason, i spend good 30 minutes trying to make it look okay. To be frank, they're still not my favorite and i hesitated whether i should show you them.

What i really like about this particular planner is the fact that it has rings inside, so that i can add in or take out pages any time i like. It's honestly the most convenient thing. This was a gift from my friend, so i can't tell where it's from, but i did buy the inner pages myself, i picked up seasonal ones. For fall i had orange pages with leafs, blue with snowflakes for winter, green for spring and pink for summer. I already use the spring ones, because i run out of the blue pages. And this way i just don't get too bored with writing in the notebook.

I use it not only as a planner but as a diary as well. I write down my plans, to do lists, dreams that i want to remember, my thoughts on different topics (for example, i wrote about friendship as shown on one of the picture below), my blog post ideas, of course, i write down some days of the month, i also make inspirational collages.
To Do list for the weekend
Home Decor Inspiration Collage. I also described my dream house on the next few pages.
Friendship Thoughts
A Day Out With My Girls
I use my planner almost every day, and just this month i started to do a new thing in it. I printed out a month calendar page. Originally, i was going to use it to write my plans for the months, but i ended up shortly writing down my days. As there's not much space to write in the rectangles, i came up with a few symbols to save the space.
My Monthly Overview
  • The days that i framed with a green border is for the days i spent cleaning.
  • The hearted days are for my favorite days of the month.
  • A dot between two wavy lines is for when my blog post went up. (As you can see, this month i wasn't very productive within this area).
  • Exclamation mark is for the days when i finished reading a book or started reading a new one. (And i can happily say that this month i've read quite a few books!)
  • And a cake sticker is for my 1 year blog anniversary! (Read the blog post on that here)
I'm not fully satisfied with these signs, i'm planning to add a few more for the month of March, but this is what i have so far. It's very convenient for me, and hopefully you found some ideas for your planner.
To be completely honest, i was very doubtful whether to write this post or not, because i don't usually write something of that kind, but i'm quite content with how it turned out. Hope you did too!

And by the way, please let me know if you enjoyed reading this type of post on my blog, because i actually have a lot more to share with you planning wise, so let me know if you would like to see more!

Love you lots <3

MAC Single Eyeshadow In Rich Core

I'm not even sure where to start with this post. I've postponed writing it for quite awhile, hoping i would find a way for this product to work for me. But it's the worst eyeshadow i've ever put on my eyes, which makes me so mad, we all know how much MAC charges for their makeup.

Why I Do Not Recommend Trying This Single Eyeshadow:
  • It takes so much time to build up the colour. As i swatched it in the shop, the pigmintation seemed okay, but as i tried to actually put it on my eyes, the colour just wouldn't show off.
  • The staying power is just awful. Never in my life i had such a terrible experience with creasing and colour fading. Even cheap eyeshadows stayed on me longer than this MAC one. And i tried different primers, i hoped that would maybe work. No, it didn't. During first few hours the eye makeup looks beautiful, the colouк is actually very pretty. Unfortunately, by the end of the day, you barely can notice there were eyeshadows, the colour just wears off so quickly! And i tried to wear it on it's own, i also tried it as an accent colour - nothing helped. Though it does work a tiny little bit better blended with other eyeshadows.
  • The price. I can't be cool with how awful the quality and how much i payed for that. And this is so weird to me, i've heard so so many great things about MAC eyeshadows, that's why i decided to try one. Maybe that's just this parcticular colour, i don't know, i probably will buy one more just to see if it would work any better.
So sorry if you felt like i actually got mad, i was just trying to be very exact with explaining why i didn't like the product. I really don't recommend you even trying this parcticular colour - such a waste of money. Hope you found this post helpful, i would be so happy if reading this will actually save someone's money. And if you have ANY recommendations with how to make it work, please let me know! By the way, what experience have you had with MAC eyeshadows? I would love toknow all of that.

Love you all so much,

The Body Shop Pick Ups

The Body Shop

You probably know by now how much i love The Body shop, especially their Vitamin E line. I recently picked up two products from there. One of them is my all-time favorite product and the other one i bought for the first time to try out.

Vitamin E Face Mist. This is honestly my holy grail skin care product! i use it every singlt morning before putting on my makeup. It freshens up my skin after sleeping and it gives it a little bit of moister, which my skin needs all year round. I first tried this in the summer, and i head over hills fell in love with it. I have a full review on my blog, which you can read here. (it is actually one of my most read posts) It normally lasts me for three months or so, and this is my third bottle. I honestly love this product so much, will forever repurchase it!

Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil. I've already been using it for a while, and still have a mixed opinion on the oil. I mean i do like it, but just not sure it's what my skin needs. It does the job though. I was looking for a night serum for a few months, and i decided to try the Body Shop one, since it is one of my favorite brands skin care wise.

I would recommend both products for you to try, i honestly get exited so much every time i have something new from The Body Shop!

Lots of love,

My One Year Blog Anniversary!

I am beyond exited for this post, guys! I officially have this blog for a year, i had my first blog anniversary on February the 4th. I would have written this post on the actual anniversary date, but i didn't feel well for the past week. I'm good now and ready to write loads of posts for you! I honestly can't believe it's been a year, it feels like i've had this blog for my entire life, i'm so used to having my own little internet space. I want to say a huge thank to you, guys, for reading my posts, commenting on them, following me on social media, THANK YOU SO MUCH! It honestly means the world to me!

And as a little treat/present for myself, i went out and bought a few MAC products, which i will definatelly write reviews on later this month.
I got a single eyeshadow in "Rich Core", which is a gorgeous golden and burgundy colour, i'm in love with it! I originally was going to get "Burgundy Times Nine" palette, but the colours on the website looked a bit better, and i didn't like them in real life as much. When i spotted this tiny eyeshadow pot i instanly knew i had to buy it! Have absolutely no regrets, the colour is so beautiful!

And i also picked up their matte lipstick in "Velvet Teddy". So many people have been raving about it lately, so i really wanted to give it a go.

Thank you so much for the support once again, love you all so much,

My Top Three Garnier Products

Garnier, Garnier Hair Oil, Garnier Body Lotion, Garnier Micellar Water

I used to love Garnier a few years ago, then for some reasons i stopped using them, and a few months ago i decided to try some products from the brand. I am completely obsessed now! These are my top three ones. And i genuinely think everyone should have these products in their bathroom, they are so incredibly good and it's drugstore, which is always a nice bonus.

Ganrnier Fructis SOS Hair Repair Oil. I used to hate this product in the summer, i thought it made my hair greasy. I'm not sure what had happend since then, but now i love it so much, i use it every single day after i washed my hair, while it's still wet. I feel like it also works as a heat protector even though it doesn't say so on the bottle. Despite the terribly cold weather, my ends are in the best condition ever.

Garnier Oil Beauty Nourishing Lotion. My newest love. I bought this because Emily Rose mentioned it a few times on her YouTube channel. The second i put this on my body was the second i fell in love with the lotion. It moistrizes my body very well without feeling too oily or thick. It soaks in extremely quickly. My skin looks shiny and healthy after using the product. And it smells nicely, too.

Garnier Micellar Water. A most famous Garnier product. And it's very worth the hype. I feel like evryone knows about it, and not much needs to be said. You simply take off your makeup with it, and it doesn't even need to be washed off afterwards. Works just great.

I will keep repurchasing these products forever more, because they are my all-time favorites and essentials. Highly recommend trying them out <3

LUSH Yog Nog Bath Bomb Review

I recently did a lush haul, where i showed you all the products i got from there (obviously). This was one of them, and if i'm honest i tried this bath bomb even before i published my lush haul:) I haven't used any lush products for quite a while, and i was too exited to wait.

I believe this bath bomb is their winter editional one. I asked the worker for the most moistrizing bomb, and she adviced me this one. It has the typical lush scent, which i like. When i put the bomb in my bath, the water turned almost neon yellow colour, which i did not expect. And it was the first time when half of the bomb was enough, i normally use the entire bomb at a time. So, it was a nice surprise.

There was a lot of tiny glitter pieces in the water, which weren't noticable on the body after the bath. My skin felt so moistrized! I didn't feel the need to put lotion afterwards, because my skin already felt great. Might be one of my favorite lush productsm actually! What's yours?

First Benefit Buys Ever

As on of my birthday presents i wanted Hoola Bronzer, because every single blogger raves about it, all reviews are great, and i just wanted it badly! First thing i did as January sales started is i went shopping, of course.

Hoola Bronzer. I've been using it for two weeks now, and i'm absolutely in love with the product! The quality is amazing, the shade is beautiful, and it stays on all day! I'm so happy i got this! As there's already thousands reviews on the bronzer, i'm not sure i will write a separate post about it. Though i'm quite positive you will hear me rave about this much more. I just love it so much!

Benetint. As i was looking through things on the Benefit counter, i saw this cheek and lip staying. I immediately grabbed both products and bought them. I completely forgot this thing existed, but i remember i really wanted to buy this a few years ago, but it wasn't available in my country yet. I have a bit mixed opinion on the product after trying it. The staying power on my lips isn't great for the price at all. Maybe that's because of the cold, i don't know. I will continue using this and definately let you know what i think later. But i do like it a lot for cheeks.

I'm very happy with both goods, i now want to try much more Benefit products, i'm so inpressed! Don't know why i haven't tried anything from the brand earlier. They're amazing! Do you know what else i might like from them? If you do, please let me know in the comments! I would really appreciate that!

Lots of love,

Sephora Face Mask

Sephora face mask, moistrizing and brightening face mask, sephora rose mask

This was my first time ever trying Sephora face mask, i didn't even know we had Sephora products in my city. They have quite a few different types of these masks to try (moisrizing&soothing, anti-aging&smoothing, toning&revitalizing, anti-fanigue&energizing, moistrizing&brightening, perfecting&brightening, mattifying&anti-blemish, nourishing&balancing). Since it's winter and it's ridiculously cold where i live, i decided to go with the moistrizing and brightening one. The cost is similar to a cheapest lush bath balm, so it's not too expensive, but also not something i would buy all the time. Only occasionaly when i want to treat myself. Now was the time to do so, my skin has been feeling poorly and it definately needed a good face mask.

It has a bit rosy scent to it, which i don't mind. It looks quite funny on the face. It's one of those masks where you just put on a tissue (that has holes for your eyes, lips and nose), leave it for 10-15 minutes (i did 20), take off the tissue and voila! You don't even need to wash it off, just tap some cream (or whatever it's that's left after the mask) into you face. My skin felt so moisrized and healthy after the mask! I highly recommend everyone trying this out. I honestly don't know how someone can not like it!

Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara Review

Maybelline, Brows, Maybelline Brow Drama, Review, makeup, drugstore makeup

I bought this brow mascara a few weeks ago, and i've been using it ever since. So many people talked about this - they either loved or hated it. I wanted to give this product a try so much! As you can see on the picture, i got this in Dark Brown and it is a perfect match for me.
Just to give you a better idea, my eyebrows are quite dark, even black, i would say, but it's not as black as ink, it just normal black if it makes any sense. And i just fill them in, i don't change the shape or anything like that. And that product is so so good for that!

First of all, here is the brush. The colour on it looks a bit weird, it's not like that in the real life at all! I would actually say it looks more black than brown on me.

- Locks my eyebrows in place perfectly! They literally don't move throughout the entire day (i mean the hairs not eyebrows). I used a gel to set them before but it wouldn't compare to the Maybelline one.
- Even though it completely locks them, they still look very natural! You wouldn't tell i've used a product on my eyebrows if you met me. Honestly, i myself wouldn't tell.
- As i said, the colouк match is perfect for me. What i also really like is that you can buy this mascara in transparent colour!
- The price is amazing for the quality! I mean it is a drugstore product.

- I wouldn't really use it on it's own, i still use my browpencil before using the mascara. I mean, if you want something quick and very natural, probably this is the way to go for you. But i like my eyebrows quite dark yet natural.
- I really think they should change the brush's shape. I sometimes, especially when i first got it, fill them a bit out of a line. And then i have to whipe off the excess, which is not a big deal, it's just a bit annoying.

Overall, that is a great product, good job, Maybelline! I would recommend you trying it out if you don't mind dealing with еру excess product every now and then. I don't, so i will definatelly continue using this.
